The Jewish Teen Forum is to give teens a tool to learn Judaic studies online while interacting with other Jewish teens in their age group.
1. Students register to their age group (post bar/bat mitzvah through grade 9 and grades 10-12).
2. Students can view at least one new per-recorded lesson with leading questions per week. The lesson/s are available online 24/7, and will not be taken off the website for the duration of the registered period.
3. Students/ can respond via posts whenever they wish, and are monitored and directed by a Jewish educator.
4. Students and teachers can correspond informally on a Jewish Teen Forum group in Facebook. This group is open to students and teachers who participate in the program.
4. Our program is unaffiliated, and is open to everyone.
Students must be referred by a center – school/synagogue/camps, etc. If they do not have a center, we will be their center, and they will have to be interviewed in order to be accepted. This will ensure that we have the right Jewish teen’s group interested in Judaic studies.
If you are a center interested in participating with our program, or if you are teacher interested in teaching our program, email Eran at shorr@shorre.com.
We are now registering students for October 1, 2012 – March 31, 2014.
Cost is $180 per student. (We must have at least 30 registered students)
